Best Matte Burgundy Car Wrap for DIY and Full-Panel Projects

#1 · Best Overall

1. INSTAWRAPS 3M Matte Burgundy Bliss

• Size: 53in x 5ft (22.08 Sq/ft)
• Compatible with Vehicle Type: Car, Van, Motorcycle, Bus, Airplane, Boat, Truck

Best for: Wide 3M burgundy panels.

Why it ranks #1: Its listed Matte Burgundy Bliss color directly matches the search, and the 53-inch by 5-foot 3M roll provides 22.08 square feet.

The 53-inch width of this 3M 7080 Series roll gives installers a broad continuous strip for burgundy vehicle panels. Its Matte Burgundy Bliss finish is offered for interior and exterior use, and the 5-foot length provides a defined amount of film for planned sections.

The 53-inch-wide roll can cover broader sections than narrow accent film, while its 5-foot length helps buyers plan a bounded panel project. This 3M color-change collection is described for both interior and exterior vehicle applications, with compatibility listed for cars, vans, motorcycles, buses, airplanes, boats, and trucks. The product is supplied as film rolls for seamless application, and the named Matte Burgundy Bliss color makes it a specific option for a matte burgundy change rather than a printed pattern.

Skip it if you need more than 5 feet of continuous film; this roll length limits coverage for longer panels.

Choose the Instawraps 3M roll for a planned matte burgundy panel or interior-to-exterior color change across listed vehicle types. The 53-inch width helps with broad sections, while the five-foot length remains the project boundary.

#2 · Best DIY Features

2. VViViD Matte Metallic Bloody Burgundy

• Size: 1ft x 5ft
• Compatible with Vehicle Type: Airplane, Boat, Car, Motorcycle
• Material: Vinyl

Best for: Small metallic burgundy projects.

Why it ranks #2: The burgundy matte metallic film has a bubble-free membrane and self-healing technology, though its 1-foot by 5-foot roll suits smaller jobs.

Self-healing film is the defining feature of VViViD’s matte metallic Bloody Burgundy wrap: scratches disappear, helping the surface keep its appearance through use. The 1-by-5-foot roll is a compact choice for DIY accents, and its bubble-free membrane is ready to apply without liquids.

The bubble-free membrane supports a straightforward dry application, so there is no need to prepare or use application liquids. Self-healing technology makes scratches disappear, a useful property for areas exposed to routine contact. The film is listed for cars, motorcycles, boats, and airplanes, giving it several vehicle applications, while its 1-by-5-foot format is suited to smaller sections rather than full-vehicle coverage. The product is also identified for long-term fleet and motorsport marketing use.

Skip it if you need a broad wrap sheet for large panels; the 1-by-5-foot roll is better suited to smaller sections.

Pick this VViViD film for DIY accents where a matte metallic burgundy look and self-healing surface matter. Its vehicle compatibility is broad, but the 1-by-5-foot roll is a practical fit for limited areas, not extensive coverage.

#3 · Best Satin-Pearl Finish

3. EZAUTO Burgundy Matte Metallic

• Size: 1FT x 5FT
• Compatible with Vehicle Type: Car
• Material: Vinyl

Best for: Heat-shaped satin pearl accents.

Why it ranks #3: This 1-foot by 5-foot burgundy film offers a matte metallic satin pearl finish; shaping requires a heat gun or household blow dryer.

A heat gun or household blow dryer can shape this matte metallic satin pearl burgundy vinyl into tight spots and corners. The 1-by-5-foot sheet serves compact DIY projects, while its water-resistant, weatherproof material supports use on vehicle surfaces exposed to the elements.

The requirement for heat during shaping gives installers a method to work the film into tight spots and corners. On non-sticky surfaces, curves, and corners, the listed guidance requires Primer 94, so those areas call for extra preparation. Water resistance and weatherproofing support exterior use, but the manufacturer states there is no warranty for fading; over-lamination, avoiding stretched areas, and shelter from high UV exposure are listed ways to reduce fading.

Skip it if you want a stated fading warranty; the product explicitly provides none for fading.

Consider this EZAUTO WRAP sheet for small burgundy projects where heat shaping and weather resistance are useful. Plan for Primer 94 on specified non-sticky surfaces, curves, and corners, and account for the stated fading limitation.

#4 · Largest Roll

4. Avery Dennison Matte Garnet Red

• Size: 5ft x 15ft (75 Sq/ft)
• Compatible with Vehicle Type: Bus, Car, Motorcycle, Truck, Van
• Material: Vinyl

Best for: Large conformable vehicle wraps.

Why it ranks #4: The 5-foot by 15-foot roll supplies 75 square feet, with a conformable matte metallic finish, though its listed shade is garnet red.

A 5-by-15-foot roll provides 75 square feet of Avery Dennison matte garnet-red metallic film, making it a substantial option for vehicle projects. Its super-conformable construction is specified for irregular substrates and deep recesses, helping the film follow complex body contours.

The film’s superior conformability on irregular substrates and deep recesses can help installers work around shaped vehicle panels. Its easy-apply feature helps eliminate wrinkles and bubbles during application, addressing common workflow obstacles. The dual-layer construction combines color with clear protective layers for a matte, paint-like finish, while the listed outdoor performance reaches up to 12 years. Compatibility covers cars, motorcycles, buses, trucks, and vans, and the 75-square-foot roll suits larger jobs.

Skip it if you want a plain, nonmetallic burgundy matte; this film is specifically garnet red metallic.

This Avery Dennison roll fits installers planning broad vehicle coverage or work across deep recesses and irregular panels. Its matte metallic garnet-red appearance is the key boundary, so select it when that finish suits the intended look.

5. Rwraps Ruby Gemstone Pigeon Blood

• Size: 59in x 4ft W/ Application Card

Best for: Ruby-toned matte accents.

Why it ranks #5: Its Pigeon Blood Matte color and 59-inch by 4-foot format offer a broad sheet, plus dual-cast film and bubble-free air egress.

The Pigeon Blood matte color gives this Rwraps film a ruby-toned alternative for compact vehicle accents. Its 59-inch width and 4-foot length provide a defined sheet size, while the dual-cast film’s bubble-free air egress and invisible channels help simplify DIY installation.

Air-egress technology and invisible channels give air a route out from under the film, helping installers work toward wrinkle-free coverage. The dual-cast 3.5-mil vinyl is rated for both interior and exterior use, allowing the same material type to serve different surfaces. A quick installation guide is included on the application card, and listed applications extend to vehicles, boats, cabinets, and furniture. The 59-inch-by-4-foot format best fits limited areas rather than extensive wrapping.

Skip it if you need long continuous runs across a vehicle; this roll measures only 4 feet long.

6. Rwraps Abstract Technology Dark Crimson

• Size: 59in x 23ft W/ Application Card

Best for: Long-run printed wrap projects.

Why it ranks #6: The 59-inch by 23-foot roll offers substantial coverage and air-egress channels, but its abstract dark crimson design is less directly burgundy.

The 23-foot roll length sets this Rwraps Dark Crimson matte film apart for projects needing more continuous material. Its digitally printed design brings a patterned appearance, while bubble-free air egress and invisible channels support DIY application across vehicle or interior surfaces.

With a 59-inch width and 23-foot length, the roll offers more continuous material than a short accent sheet, which can help when planning larger surfaces. Bubble-free air-egress technology and invisible channels help move air from beneath the film during installation. The dual-cast 3.5-mil film is rated for interior and exterior use, and the included application card provides a quick installation guide. Listed uses include vehicles, boats, furniture, and kitchen cabinets.

Skip it if you need a single strip wider than 59 inches; the roll's stated width is 59 inches.

This Rwraps roll suits DIY buyers planning a longer printed Dark Crimson matte project on a vehicle or other hard surface. Its generous length supports continuous runs, but the 59-inch width remains a constraint on very wide areas.

7. Rwraps Red Pixel Maroon Lagoon

• Size: 59in x 4ft W/ Application Card

Best for: Printed maroon accent projects.

Why it ranks #7: This matte maroon lagoon film includes air-egress channels and an application card, but its red pixel design differs from a plain burgundy finish.

A digitally printed Maroon Lagoon matte design gives this Rwraps film a patterned look rather than a plain burgundy surface. Its 59-inch width and 4-foot length suit a contained accent, while invisible air channels and bubble-free air egress support DIY installation.

The bubble-free air-egress technology and invisible channels let air move out beneath the film, helping installers work toward a wrinkle-free application. The dual-cast 3.5-mil construction is listed for interior and exterior use, and the application card offers a quick installation guide for DIY work. Compatibility extends beyond vehicles to hard surfaces such as furniture, cabinets, boats, ATVs, and UTVs. At 59 inches by 4 feet, the roll is a limited-size option for accents or smaller surfaces.

Skip it if you need film for large panels or extensive coverage; this roll is only 4 feet long.

Choose this Rwraps Maroon Lagoon film for a printed matte accent on a vehicle or another hard surface. Its air channels and included guide support DIY work, while the four-foot length limits larger projects.

8. RockRose 3D Matte Burgundy Carbon Fiber

• Size: 1FT x 10FT
• Compatible with Vehicle Type: Car
• Material: Vinyl

Best for: DIY interior trim accents.

Why it ranks #8: The 1-foot by 10-foot film provides burgundy color and air-release adhesive, but its pronounced 3D carbon-fiber texture changes the finish.

Air-release adhesive lets you lift, slide, and reposition this matte burgundy carbon-fiber-textured vinyl while working out bubbles. The 1-by-10-foot roll suits smaller projects, and its flexible, heat-moldable material can follow smooth surfaces and contours around interior trim.

The air-channel adhesive supports repositioning during application, while the heat-moldable vinyl can be shaped around contours and tight interior areas such as a glove box or center console. Its water resistance supports use on surfaces that may need wiping, and the material is removable without residue. The 1-foot width makes this roll more appropriate for trim and smaller sections than broad body coverage; if it arrives wrinkled, the supplied guidance says to use a heat gun during installation.

Skip it if you need wide sheets for large body panels; this roll measures only 1 foot across.

Choose this RockRose roll for DIY burgundy accents on smooth interior trim, contours, or other smaller surfaces. Its carbon-fiber texture and repositionable adhesive suit detail work, while the narrow width is a boundary for broad body panels.

9. Blueshyhall Burgundy Blue Chameleon

• Size: 60 in x 39.4 in (152 cm x 100 cm)
• Compatible with Vehicle Type: Motorcycle, Van, Car, SUV, Truck
• Material: PET

Best for: Color-shift bodywork projects.

Why it ranks #9: Its matte PET film shifts from burgundy to blue and includes air-release channels, making the changing color less suitable for a consistent burgundy look.

Its burgundy-blue pearl shifts from deep wine red in low light to blue tones in direct sun, giving this matte PET wrap a changing appearance across conditions. The 60-by-39.4-inch sheet includes micro air-release channels to help DIY installers push trapped air out during application.

Micro air-release channels let trapped air escape during installation, helping reduce bubbles as the self-adhesive film is applied. Heat-stretchable PET can be shaped for vehicle surfaces, while the water-resistant finish is easy to clean for routine upkeep. The listed outdoor use is approximately five to seven years. Compatibility includes cars, motorcycles, vans, SUVs, and trucks, though the single 60-by-39.4-inch sheet is better suited to a limited area than a complete vehicle wrap.

Skip it if you need enough material for a full vehicle; this single 60-by-39.4-inch sheet covers a limited area.

This Blueshyhall sheet suits buyers seeking a matte color-shifting accent for a car, motorcycle, van, SUV, or truck. Its air channels and heat-stretchable PET aid application, but the sheet dimensions set a clear coverage boundary.
